Dear OLMC Community,

Thank you to all the families who supported the Dads’ Club food fundraiser on Thursday! It was a great success! 

Iowa Test of Basic Skills This week the children will be taking the ITBS tests. These tests are helpful and give you (and us) another data point on where your child is academically. Please have your child/children get to bed early, eat breakfast and arrive on time to school! We will begin testing immediately after the announcements at 8:15am. If your child is late, he/she will not be allowed into the classroom until that assessment is complete and will have to make it up later. Make up tests will be the next week and the children will have to miss class to take the tests they missed. It is very important to be on time! Also- please do not pull your children from class early for appointments. 

There are no Learning Labs this week and the homework will be light to none. 

Progress Reports The third trimester progress reports will be emailed home Wednesday, March 30 after 3:00pm. 

Stations of the Cross The 7th graders will lead us in Stations of the Cross on Friday at 10:00am. 

Change in Absence Policy If your child is ill, please email your child’s name and reason for the absence to attendance@olmcschool.info. (Previously parents called in and left a message for Nurse David)

Scholarship Information Night Monday night, March 28, we are offering a free class about applying for scholarships. It will begin in the library at 6:30pm. You do not need to have your taxes done yet to come to this meeting. We will have a representative from Catholic Education Arizona (CEA) and Institute for Better Education (IBE). Looking forward to seeing you there- RSVP here!

Used Uniform Sale There is a Used Uniform Sale on Wednesday, March 30 from 6:00-7:30pm in McCready Hall. Please bring your gently used uniforms to the office. Remember- if you memorize your online Shelby email and password, you can pay with your saved ACH account and avoid the credit card surcharge! 

Food for Thought Gift Cards The “end of the year” for FFT is April 30. If you have not made the minimum yet, please contact Cindy if you need some additional tips as to how to do so!
