Dear OLMC Community,

It was so wonderful to see the children these past few days at Meet the Teacher. I am really excited to begin a new school year. Here are a few reminders for Tuesday:

* We will have Mass on Tuesday at 11:15am. Please have your child wear his/her Mass uniform.

*We have a 12:30pm dismissal on the first day, so send your child with a big snack!

*Pack your patience for the parking lot! Remember the first few days take awhile to get out of the parking lot. SAFETY is the #1 priority so please stay off of your cell phone. To prepare your child, let him/her know if they are in the pink or yellow line (your placard was in your red folder). Remind older children to stand with the youngest sibling and to listen to their last name being called. This will help the process. Again, the first week takes awhile but by week two it should only take about 15 minutes!

*Make it a goal this year to be to school on time! The first bell rings at 8:05am. The children like to have a few minutes before school to talk and play with friends. Start them off on the right foot!

*Friday Home & School is hosting their first Coffree for the new school year! See you at 8:15am after you drop off your child/children for coffee and fellowship.

*Our Health and Wellness plan for 2022-2023 can be accessed here. The plan is titled H.O.P.E.

*If ever you need to pick up your child early: It is suggested that all early pick-ups be prior to 2:30pm to avoid getting stuck in the pick-up line process. If a student must leave school before regular dismissal, parents are required to call the school office to arrange to have your child pulled from class at the specified time. Please give at least 30 minutes notice to get your student out of class. If you know at least one day in advance that your child will be leaving early, please email their teacher AND copy Mrs. White (enedinawhite@olmcschool.info) to let them know. For the safety of the child, parents are asked to come to the school office and sign their student out.
