Dear OLMC Community,
Thank you to Home and School for a wonderful Staff Lunch on Friday and a fantastic St. Nick’s breakfast on Saturday. Such great, community building events! So much is happening here in the coming weeks.
Tomorrow is the last day to sign up for the OLMC Parish Kid’s Christmas Choir, led by our very own Mrs. Lowe! This is available for students, grades 2nd-8th. Practices will be held on:
Participants MUST attend two full rehearsals, plus the final run-through before Mass on Christmas Eve in order to be able to sing at the Mass.
Wednesday through Friday the St. Therese Group will be selling Candy Grams from 7:30-8:05am. The proceeds will go to raise funds to help build the Divine Mercy Adoration Chapel addition for the church. Candy Grams will be delivered the following Tue, Dec 13. They are $1.00 each!
PLEASE NOTE: There will be no Mass on Wednesday.
We have Mass on Thursday at 2:00pm for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. This is a Holy Day of Obligation. Please make sure if you are attending Mass you follow the parking guidelines for the safety of all the children.
On Thursday, several members from the Student Leadership Team will be taking Christmas trees that were decorated by the students to Sunshine Acres for the children there to enjoy.
Home and School will have a Coffee on Friday at 8:15am celebrating Nurse David! All are welcome to say goodbye and wish her well!
On Friday, the 7th graders will be taking a field trip to the Rio Salado Audubon Society.

OLMC Spirit week will be the week before Christmas, Dec 12-16. I have attached the flyer HERE but this does not start until the Mon, Dec 12! I am sending this early so you may have time to prepare!
Please mark your calendars as we will have Mass on Mon, Dec 12 at 1:15pm. We will be celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. There will be a rose processional by some of the buddy classes. I will send more details next week. We are also having the Marcos de Niza Mariachi band come to play afterwards for the children. We are so excited!
The Christmas Program is on Thu, Dec 15 at 7:00pm and will last approximately one hour. Church doors will open at 6:30pm, and students are expected to be in the care of their parents until the classrooms open at 6:30pm. Staff will assist in walking children back to the classrooms so that parents can find a seat. During the performance, teachers will bring each grade over one at a time, the children will sing their song, and then they will head back to their classroom. Your child will remain in the classroom until the end of the program. Once the program ends, please head to your child’s classroom to pick him/her up and take them home.
There will also be Mass on Fri, Dec 16 t 11:15am. There will be a 12:30pm dismissal after. Please wear Mass attire!
