Dear OLMC Community,

This next week is a very busy week! We will be kicking off Catholic Schools Week. Below is a schedule and I have attached a printable schedule to hang on your fridge to easily refer to! 

We will be collecting new toys for a Diocesan-wide drive for St. Vincent de Paul. Please bring in any new toy!

Home & School Needs oranges for the children for field day. Please bring your donation to the kitchen in McCready Hall on Thursday so we may wash & cut for the event! If you are able to wash and cut them before you drop them off it would be very helpful, but if not, that’s okay too!

Monday, January 30: Celebrating your Community

Spirit dress- Jeans and favorite sports team (it can be a team the kids are on)

Activity: Volleyball Game- Staff v. 8th graders

Tuesday, January 31: Celebrating your Students

Spirit dress: Students in grades 4-8 wear their PE uniform all day. Students in grades K-3 wear an OLMC spirit shirt and black or navy blue shorts(fingertip length)** Students may also wear OLMC sweatpants or solid black or navy blue sweats or joggers. No leggings or yoga pants. 

Activity: Falcon Fun Run!

Wednesday, February 1: Celebrating Families

Spirit dress- hat day- can be fun, athletic, silly, just school appropriate

Activities: School Mass at 8:30am with a Eucharistic Procession to follow! Please dress in Mass uniform

Open House 5-6pm! Please come to see the beautiful projects your children are working on in class!

Thursday, February 2:  Celebrating Vocations

Spirit dress- Falcon day- wear black, red or white & jeans

Activities: 8:05am Dedication & Blessing of the new OLMC statue in the Prayer Garden with Fr. Robert

All School Bingo

Friday, February 3: Celebrating Faculty, Staff, and Volunteers

Spirit dress: Students in kinder to through 3 wear black or navy blue shorts and a spirit shirt and children in 4th-8th PE uniform. Students may also wear OLMC sweatpants or solid black or navy blue sweats or joggers. No leggings or yoga pants. 

Field Day

8:35-9:35am K-5 (Led by 8th graders)
10:15-11:45am 6th-8th

Pizza & juice boxes served in the classroom for lunch! This will begin at 10:45am with kindergarten

This is a 12:30pm dismissal! 

Sunday - Celebrating your Parish

We are asking students to attend the 9:00am and 11:00am Masses! Please come dressed in your school uniform. Students who attend one of these Masses at OLMC will have a jeans day and spirit shirt on Monday, February 6th.

Volunteer Coaches! Mrs. Baker is in need of a 5th grade girls basketball coach!!! Please email elizabethbaker@olmcschool.info if you are interested in coaching or assisting. 

The Mother/Son Kickball -you are still able to sign up until February 3rd but your shirt will likely not be in. However, it can be used as a spirit shirt on later dates. Mother-Son Kickball is on Saturday, Feb. 11th from 1-3pm. Sign up here: Mother/Son Kickball Tournament Registration. There are also several volunteer opportunities if you do not have your hours in!
