Our bake sale team is asking each family to make (or buy) baked goods for the festival according to the grade assignments. Bring items to Room 3B on Thu, Apr 4 and Fri, Apr 5 from 8:00am-6:00pm.
We are looking for donations to the Silent & Live Auctions. This year we are grouping several grades together to make awesome baskets for our auctions. You can FFT credits while donating to the auctions.

Each student is asked to bring in three 2-liter bottles of soda for this year's festival ring toss. This is one of the most popular events at the festival so we need everyone to pitch in. Each class with 100% participation will earn an afternoon recess/Otter Pop party. Please bring in your bottles of soda between Mon, Mar 3 but no later than Thu, Apr 4. Thank you for your support!
The 74th Annual Our Lady of Mount Carmel “Connect with Us” Festival is coming up soon on April 6th which will be a fun family celebration with plenty of food, silent and live auction items, rides and games for the kids and of course the Super Raffle. The annual festival is our single fundraising event that supports our school and enables us to continue to develop, maintain and expand our school and to provide a quality, affordable Catholic education to the children of our parish and community.READ MORE

Home & School is hosting a "Coffree" social on: Friday, March 1, 2019 before school in McCready Hall We'll be kicking off our 2019 "Connect with Us" Parish Festival with our usual coffee and treats. Stop by with your presale forms and purchase your festival t-shirts, souvenir beverage cups, super raffle tickets and tickets for food, rides, and games for the festival. Representatives from this year's festival will be present to answer any questions you have.

The leads would be responsible for tasks leading up to the festival and day of the festival including setting up, overseeing the festival day volunteers, and cleaning up. Contact our festival chairman, Jamon Reval, for more information.
The 2019 "Connect with Us" Parish Festival is fast approaching, and in order for the festival to run smoothly and efficiently, each family is required to work the festival a minimum of 6 hours.
2 hours may be completed prior to Festival Week
4 hours must be completed during Festival Week
Each family has been assigned a Family ID that will be included in festival packets that will be sent home in the coming weeks.
This family ID is required to sign up for all volunteers. For additional questions or concerns, please contact Ashley Hall. Thank you for supporting the OLMC festival.
According to the Maricopa County Environmental Health Code, Chapter VII, Reg. 1 (C), anyone who handles, prepares, serves, sells, or gives away food for consumption by persons other than his or her immediate family, or who handles food utensils and equipment must have a food handlers card. Food handler cards are valid for three (3) years.
Festival volunteers signing up for any food booth, including snow cone, cotton candy and popcorn, require a valid food handler’s card. Bake sale volunteers do not need a food handler’s card. If you have already completed the food handler training, you are covered. Please bring a copy of your food handlers card and give it to Ashley Hall when checking in for your scheduled shift.READ MORE

Each family is required to complete a minimum of six (6) service hours for the festival. (Preschool ONLY families are required to complete a minimum of four (4) service hours for the festival. If families have students in BOTH the preschool and the elementary school, six (6) service hours are required.) Two of the hours may be completed prior to the festival week, but at least four (4) hours must be completed between Monday, April 1 and Sunday, April 7, 2019.
Students may not fulfill the family service hour requirement; however, this is an excellent opportunity for high school students to earn service credit hours.READ MORE

As part of our festival celebration, the festival committee is raffling off a $2,000 gift certificate to Coffin & Trout Jewelers. A special thank you to Coffin & Trout Jewelers and Brandt Engineers who sponsored this raffle. Tickets are available for purchase now in the office or before/after school. Cost is $20 for one ticket or $80 for five tickets. Only 250 tickets will be sold, so don't delay!"
Teachers will dismiss their classes at 12:30 p.m. This day is also a jeans day for those that wear this year’s festival t-shirt.
