On Thursday, April 19, teachers will dismiss their classes at 12:30pm to make way for festival setup. There is also no school on Friday, April 20. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the front office.

Each student is asked to bring in three 2-liter bottles of soda for this year's festival ring toss. This is one of the most popular events at the festival so we need everyone to pitch in. Each class with 100% participation will earn a jeans day at a later date. Please bring in your bottles of soda between March 19 and April 19. Thank you for your support!
Come pick up your 2018 "Mt. Carmel Fiesta" Parish Festival t-shirt! Sales are every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from now until the festival. T-shirts are $10.00 each. Adult and child sizes available. Festival t-shirts are acceptable wear for school spirit days and for P.E.

It's that time of year again! OLMC is holding its annual silent auction during this year's parish festival and is asking our families for donations for our silent auction baskets. This is not mandatory, but very much appreciated. Your donation will enable us to create wonderful auction baskets to suit everyone's tastes! Please see the flyer for a list of items per grade. Home & School is hosting a "Coffree" social on Fri, Mar 16 before school in McCready Hall.
We'll be kicking off our 2018 "Mt. Carmel Fiesta" Parish Festival with our usual coffee and treats. Stop by and purchase your festival t-shirts, souvenir beverage cups, super raffle tickets and tickets for food, rides, and games for the festival. Representatives from this year's festival will be present to answer any questions you have.
Just a reminder that all employees and volunteers of OLMC parish and school must have up-to-date safe environment training. Since school families are asked to complete six volunteer hours to our parish festival (per school contract), please be sure that any persons contributing to your family hours have this training completed before they volunteer.
READ MOREMaricopa County Environmental Health Code requires all food booth volunteers at our festival to have a valid food handler’s card. Food handler’s cards cost $6.95 and are valid for three years, so if you have completed the training in the past three years, you need not take the training again until your card expires.
READ MOREThe festival committee is looking for volunteers from each class to coordinate with the homeroom parent volunteers and teachers to produce classroom projects for the festival auction. Each year, the students work together to produce one classroom project to include in the festival's silent auction. Past projects have included photography, canvas, pottery, or other craft projects. Please contact festival@olmcschool.info for questions or to volunteer.
The 2018 OLMC “Mt. Carmel Fiesta” Festival is right around the corner! The festival date is Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Each family is required to complete a minimum of six (6) volunteer hours for the festival. Two of those hours may be completed prior to the festival week and at least four (4) hours must be completed between Monday, April 16 and Sunday, April 22, 2018.
