Oops- Last week when I announced the School Advisory Board winners I made a typo in Mrs. Allison Hall’s first name. She is the third new board member. Congrats!
Monday
The 8th graders will be having their final retreat from 8:30am-3:15pm. The students will wear their 8th grade shirt/spirit shirt and jeans. They will be dropped off and picked up by parents at the Newman Center. No cell phones.
Tuesday
The 8th graders will go to Feed My Starving Children from 9:30-10:45am. Parents will drop the children and pick up. They may wear jeans and a spirit shirt, no jewelry, hair pulled back and closed toed shoes. No cell phones.
The kindergarten through third grade students will be having an author, Stephanie Barton, come and read her book to the students. The book is Above the Clouds. If you would like to purchase one click, Barton Books for her to sign. She is offering a 20% discount with the code, “olmc20”. She will deliver the book on Tue, May 16.
Wednesday
The third graders and a few older students who received their sacraments this year will be presented with their own Bible with their name engraved on it during the 2pm Mass. Thank you to the St. Therese group who graciously donated the Bibles!
The 8th grade graduation Mass is at 7:00pm in the evening. The students are to be in McCready at 6:30pm please.
Friday
Home and School is hosting a “goodbye” Coffee for Father Charlie and the Sisters. If you are able to attend to thank them for their service, please do so! They will be missed!
This is the last Friday of the school year and it is a 12:30pm dismissal. The children may wear their spirits shirt and uniform bottoms.
