Dear OLMC Community,
I wanted to thank Marc Stern, Julia Pitman and Justin Rucker for their time on the School Board. I appreciate your support and feedback. I want to welcome three new members to the board: David Wirth, Claire Stern and Ashley Hall. Thank you to all of those who offered their time to serve. You are all appreciated.
Wednesday
The First graders will have their Mother’s Day celebration with their mothers at 12:30pm. Mothers of first graders, if you have little ones, please secure a sitter so you may spend this special time with just your first grader.
We will also be having a beautiful rose procession by the first graders and their moms to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima which is Saturday, May 13th. We need roses for the procession! Sign up here if you would like to help out: Sign up for Flowers! After Mass please do not return to the classroom as you will need to follow the parking lot procedures for safety. The first graders will need to return to class to get their things and be dismissed through the pick up line.
Wednesday morning will be the last meeting for Intermediate Guitar Club for the year!
Thursday
All the students making their Confirmation and Communion are required to be at the practice which will take place in the Church at 6pm. Please bring the sponsor and if he/she cannot attend please fill in for the sponsor.
Officer Rousher from Gilbert Police Department is coming in to talk to Kindergarten and 1st Grade about safety and community helpers.
Thursday morning will be the last meeting for Beginners Guitar Club for the year!
Friday
This is a 12:30 dismissal and the students may wear spirit shirts. It is also the last day for Little Flowers.
Friday is also the 8th graders last day on campus! They will have their Dinner Dance that evening at the Desert Botanical Gardens.
Saturday
The third graders will be receiving their Confirmation and First Communion on Saturday. Please keep them in your prayers.
The Annual Volunteer Breakfast is Tuesday, May 23rd at 8:30am. This is a special event the school puts on to thank all of the great volunteers that helped make so many other events at OLMC possible. Everyone who volunteered this year is invited! RSVP here for the Volunteer Breakfast.
