Dear OLMC Community,
Thank you to the Dads’ Club for a wonderful Back to School BBQ!
The Dads’ Club is having their monthly meeting at Doc and Eddy’s at 6:00pm. Doc and Eddy’s is located at 909 E. Minton Dr. in Tempe. All dads are welcome!
The School Advisory Board (SAB) has a meeting at 7:00pm in the library. The OLMC School Advisory Board meets every 4th Tuesday at 7:00pm in the OLMC Library. All parents are welcome.
Curriculum Night begins at 6:00pm in McCready Hall for grades 4th-8th. There will be a brief presentation in the Hall and then parents will move to the homeroom classes. Parents will then travel from class to class to hear the teacher's presentations.
Friday is a half day with a 12:30pm dismissal. The children may wear their spirit shirt and uniform bottoms. Home and School has a meeting morning at 7:45am in McCready Hall. All parents are welcome!
5th-8th graders, mark your calendar for Sat, Sep 9 from 9:00-11:00am. All 5th-8th graders that would like to altar serve this year must attend the training, whether they’ve served before or are brand new. Deacon Chris and Mrs. Files will be training the children.
I am excited to announce our 5th annual Night to Soar Gala on Sat, Oct 21 at 6:00pm! This year it is western-themed! The Night to Soar event features live and silent auctions, as well as other fundraising activities.
The Night to Soar Gala is the school’s main fundraiser and funds raised from the Gala are needed for the yearly operation of the school and Capital Improvement Projects. This year we are raising funds to remodel the student bathrooms in the breezeway!
In the past, our community has made so much good happen at OLMC. We hope we can count on your continued support of our students, faculty, and staff by purchasing tickets, becoming a Falcon Sponsor, or making a generous donation.
Additionally, we need many volunteers to make the Gala a success. We will need data entry, basket wrappers, set up and tear down, check-in and check out and more. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Ashley Hall at ashleyhall@olmcschool.info.
