Dear OLMC community,
Thank you to all of the parents who attended Curriculum Night the past two Thursdays. It was wonderful to see so many of you there!
Tuesday
For students that are signed up, Choir begins Tuesday at 7am. Students will meet Mrs. Lowe in McCready at 7am and head back to the Fine Arts room.
Wednesday
For students that are signed up for Chess Club, it begins Wednesday. Students will meet Coach David in 7B right after school until 4:15pm.
Friday
Children may wear their Spirit shirt and jean bottoms! Please make sure jean shorts are fingertip length, no holes.
If your child is participating in Little Flowers, Little Women, or the Young Men For Christ Groups, they will have their first meeting! Little Flowers and Little Women meet in the prayer garden and Young Men for Christ in 5B. Please pack them a lunch. We love the parent support, but remember that ALL parents that volunteer to work with students MUST have their Safe Environment completed or you will not be able to participate.
Tardy/Early Pick up
All students arriving after 8:15am will need a parent to walk them into the office to sign them in. Any early releases for appointments need to be picked up by 2:15 to avoid a busy parking lot!
RaiseRight and Physical Gift Cards
Please do not forget we are trying to sell the remaining physical gift cards. You may access the link on our website or Order Physical SCRIP here. Please check out our website for more information: www.olmcschool.info/raiseright. You will split the profit with the school, 50%/50%!
Used Uniforms
We are in desperate need of used uniforms! If your child has grown out of his/her uniform, please send them into the office. We will be having another sale in November and at this time we have very limited supply.
Altar Server Training - September 9th
On September 9th from 9-11am, all students in grades 5-8 who would like to altar serve or who are currently altar serving please attend the training with Deacon and Mrs. Files.
Water Bottles and Sweatshirts
Please remember to have your student pack a water bottle. Students are encouraged to drink lots of water throughout the day. Additionally, students can wear an OLMC sweatshirt in the classroom, but we are asking them to take them off when they go to recess- it’s still too hot!
Gala - This Year Western Themed!
This past week you should have received your packet! We cannot put on this event without your help! Please visit the OLMC Gala Website for more information! Buy your tickets now before they sell out (they will sell out)!
Labor Day
There is no school on Monday, September 3 for Labor Day.
